Instead of relying on the limited API of the Basic plan, we use Shopify webhooks (e.g., orders/create) as the source of truth. These events include the entire order with complete customer data (lines, totals, discounts, address, email, phone number), allowing you to invoice, prepare shipments, and feed your CRM from the very first minute, without having to upgrade to a higher plan. We verify the authenticity of the webhook (HMAC signature) and process the payload as issued by Shopify, avoiding information loss and gaining reliability.

Real-time ingestion and secure storage so you don't lose a single piece of data

We have deployed a listening server that receives webhooks in real time, validates the signature, and stores the event and its normalized data in our database. This ingestion layer incorporates idempotence (no order is processed twice), work queues and retries in the event of peaks or latencies, as well as encryption in transit and at rest, and data minimization/retention policies to comply with GDPR. The result: each order is captured with maximum accuracy and is ready to orchestrate your downstream processes.

Post-synchronization using already available information (without restricted calls)

When synchronization runs, we already have all the information that Shopify sent us via webhook. With that, we apply your mappings and business rules (brands, categories, attributes, statuses), resolve conflicts by priority/timestamp, and make consistent upserts in your target systems, without relying on API endpoints that the Basic plan limits. If we detect mismatches (e.g., variants, prices, or stock), we correct them in batches while maintaining the traceability of each change.
